I purchased this case to help with magnetic charging. Several times I have found after thinking it has charged overnight it was not. Turns out the magnet thingy doesnt always work unless it is specifically aligned in the charger I use. I replaced my previous non-magnetic case for the same reason. This is a good case and is value for money. I am just not sure about its magnetic ability to help charge my iPhone.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
