Not great for bedrooms

The led light flashes every 60s and the manual doesn't indicate any way to disable.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Hi Gregg,

Thank you for sharing your feedback. We understand that the flashing LED can be disruptive, especially in bedrooms where a dark environment is important for a good night's sleep, and we're sorry for the inconvenience this has caused.

As explained in our email correspondence, the SC07-W does not currently support dimming or disabling the standby LED, which flashes every 60 seconds during normal operation.

We appreciate you bringing this concern to our attention. Your feedback has been shared with our product team for consideration in future product improvements.

Thank you for your feedback and for giving us the opportunity to address your concerns.

Best regards,
X-Sense Team

Not impressed so far

So far one isn't working. Had a pizza burn in the oven and the closest one never went off. The one in the bedroom down the hall went off and thus triggered all of them to go off. Not impressed so far. These are very expensive to not have QC checked and working right from the manufacturer.

Hi,

Thank you for sharing your feedback. We understand that when it comes to home safety products, you expect every alarm to respond reliably.

With interconnected smoke alarms, the unit that activates first is not always the one closest to the source of smoke. Alarm activation depends on factors such as smoke movement, airflow, installation location, and whether enough smoke reaches the sensor to trigger an alarm.

Based on your description, the alarm in the bedroom detected the smoke and triggered the other interconnected alarms, which indicates that the interconnection feature was working as designed.

We appreciate you taking the time to share your experience. If you have any concerns about your devices or installation, our support team would be happy to review them with you.

Best regards,
X-Sense Team

Straightforward Smoke/CO monitor
on October 6, 2026

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The smoke detector was easy to install and the instructions were straightforward. I love that it has dual smoke and CO monitoring as we have a gas-powered stove. Would recommend!

Simple to install. I like how the units came already linked for communicating together. When 1 unit alarms, they all do

Middle of the nightmare!

I installed this 6 months ago. Tonight it incessantly started beeping. E05 on the display. In the middle of the night. Searches for E05 lead nowhere. Found the online manual, no mention of E05, but counted the beeps and found 4 beeps with yellow light every minute meant vacuum the sensor. Really? This worked, but was it an emergency that I had to lose a nights sleep over? I have never in my life vacuumed a smoke detector. I don’t want to go through this again, so will find something else. I still have 3 of the 6 pack I haven’t installed yet. Anyone want them?
