Setup was pretty easy and I connected 8 units. I think that if they were WiFi capable so you could receive remote notifications and health… they would be perfect! I’m somewhat concerned if they will last 10 years… a small green flash occurs about every minute and to go 10 years with a constant draw of power with recharge… well believe me I will be reviewing as time goes by!

Straightforward installation process, all required mounting screws/anchors were included. Especially appreciated the large base to cover prior installation holes.
Pairing was quick between all sensors, even though I had 12 to install. Testing was simple - press tge test button and all linked units activated as expected.
Hopefully the 10 year battery will give me 10 year life, too soon to tell just yet :-)
No app for the SC07–W, so we’ll see if I miss the features from the NEST app or not.

It's HUGE and UGLY. Wife hates them. If it wasn't a code requirement I wouldn't put those in the beautifully finished house.
