Easy setup and installation

I purchased three SC07-W to replace three existing 12 year old Kidde smoke and CO interconnected alarms that were past the expiration date and alarming to indicated they needed to be replaced.
The alarm turns itself on as soon as you turn it in the base, which surprised me. I did need to read the directions to figure out how to get the alarms three alarms interconnected. The rest of the process is super easy. Overall the setup and installation were easy. I did not run a smoke test or CO test to see if they worked.

Easy to install and excellent for a piece of mind

I used to install security alarms and smoke systems. Of course, that was all interconnected with a red wire throughout the house. We don’t have access to tearing down the walls in our rental house, so I checked into getting wireless interconnected systems and found this. It was very easy to install and now every single. room has protection with an alarm. All nine smoke detectors CO combination detectors work great!

So far so good. I have had these installed for a few days now and they are working as expected. Installation was easy. It was a good surprise to find that when you order a set as I did, that they all come pre-interconnected. Nice touch. Tested them individually during installation and as a whole when finished. Instructions were easy to follow and everything just worked as expected.

Almost Perfect!

Installation was overall easy. Interconnection of devices was a breeze. Only complaint would be in the screws supplied. Multiple heads broke and/or stripped upon installation.

Soyez vigilants : assurez-vous que votre commande suit bien son cours. Après avoir commandé, j’ai vérifié le suivi et rien ne se passait pendant deux semaines. La commande semblait gelée et ne bougeait pas, même si le paiement était autorisé. J’ai dû téléphoner ; le représentant a été très gentil. Comme je parle français et très peu anglais, il a bien compris la situation (a fait un effort +++ pour saisir mon message) et a pu régler le problème. Sans son intervention, la commande était perdue. Le produit est a peine installé c'est trop rapide pour évaluer, mais l apparence visuelle du produit donne une bonne impression de qualité ! (vendu au Canada sans instruction bilingue- inclus le Français)
