Highly Recommend: Room gets very cold, very fast!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this AC a few years back for my mother (sb: she lives on a first floor and does not use an AC bracket on the window) and recently bought one for myself. I love this AC, it makes the room very cold, very quickly! Its easy to set the desired temperature and the unit does the rest. The installation was a bit frustrating because I am required to use a window bracket under the AC, but this unit is not completely flat on the bottom, it has a bump or heel which was causing the unit to lean into our room instead of leaning out. To avoid having any water leak into the room we decided to place a large book under the front of the AC to get it balanced properly. I'll be picking up a piece of wood soon to replace the book... So if your building requires you to use an AC/window bracket, then I would recommend buying a unit that is complete flat on the bottom instead of this one.

Nice unobtrusive look

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This unit is plenty powerful for my small apartment. Cools my bedroom and eventually the adjoining living and kitchen area. I won't say it's noisy, just that it's not particularly quiet, like most A/C's. Not so bad on lower fan levels. The remote is a nice feature.
