Confusing modes

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We are happy with our air conditioner. This is the second one like this that we have bought because we were so happy with the first one. This one however, does not have the room sensor on the remote like our first of this model, which confused us because there was no mention of it not having a sensor in the remote that accompanied it. The settings are confusing to us because they are a little different than the first one we had bought, which is the same model only a couple years older. This one actually doesn't seem to keep the air as cool as our older one, although we have it set a little lower. Overall, we are happy with it but just confused about how it is operating. Hopefully, we can become accustomed to this newer model.

Baby its cold INside - At least now it is!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It was a toss up between LG 10,000 btu and Frigidare 8,000 and I chose the Frigidare as I previously owned their base line 5,000btu and while it wasn't an ice box like I personally prefer, it did the job and for many years. I also own their Freezer so I am aware of and used to their quality products and service. I even purchased a 5 year extended warranty at a such a low price, it only made sense to get it. I am content with out put of the 8,000 for a better price. There was a dent in the lower right bottom and little bend in the grills upper right corner (so far hasn't affected performance) and reason for warranty. Hoping to add their Air Quality Hepa filter, but unable to locate one or if it will fit this model
