Galaxy Watch 8 is Unnecessary a HUGE WATCH and the most boring watch I've ever worn! It's a stupid design and No Hardware upgrades over Galaxy watch 7. It's also Not compatible with older Galaxy Watch bands. Completely unimpressed. However, Smart Switch Software is much better, but still buggy, as you will have to do 2 restores from a Backup, but it did restore successfully except the notifications The Watch does not sit correctly on a charger pad as the band will not go flat..
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love the new Galaxy Watch 8. The slimmer lighter design is more comfortable and sits better on the wrist. The new AI features for health tracking on my workouts is a clear step ahead of my Galaxy Watch 7. I am blown away with how much of an improvement was made all around from the design to the internals of the new watch.

Sleep Coaching & Guidance: Features like Bedtime Guidance and Advanced Sleep Coaching offer custom bedtime prompts and multi‑week improvement plans .
Health Tools Enhanced by AI Antioxidant Index: Using skin LEDs, the watch estimates your carotenoid levels for weekly insights into dietary health—a feature still evolving in accuracy .

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Coming from the Galaxy Watch 6 Classic, I love the new watch 8. I got the 44mm due to it having a bigger screen. The new watch oneUI 8 is amazing. I cant go back to not have it.
Today is my 3rd day with my new watch. I got the 40mm in silver with the small/medium sport strap in mint. The face is plenty large for my wrist, strap is roomy enough. Cons: strap was very difficult to clip on! Battery dies quickly! I'd really like more watch faces that are more feminine, most seem very masculine. I'd love to be able to use my phone screen saver for my clock face. Pros: I'm loving the health monitoring, even an ekg and sleep apnea detector. I love the sleep monitor. Nice to be able to check my notifications from my watch. Fairly comfortable to wear. I haven't worn a watch steady so it's new.
Pros:
I would recommend this to a friend!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've had Samsung watches since the Watch5, the Watch8 with Galaxy AI is by far the best of them. This watch is thin, and light. I really like the squircle design, and the display of the screen is very clear. I thought about getting the Classic or Ultra this time, but I'm happy I got the Watch8.
