Love my new watch

Beautiful watch, abundant features, crevice issue

I upgraded from the Galaxy Watch 7 because I really wanted access to the antioxidants and vascular load measurements. Upon initial testing, it actually works really nicely and coincides with the results I've received during my doctor's visits. I love it and have been trying to monitor my health more with the wishes of my mother. The watch screen overall is beautiful, and I love the many features it provides. Very easy to set up and love the ability to ensure I only receive the notifications I want. The bluetooth actually reaches a really nice distance so even if I leave my phone in my living room while I'm in the kitchen, I can still answer calls or texts.
I only have small issues against the watch that keep me from rating it 5 stars. I still don't like the bands that samsung provides and have to order my own as they seem to make the area I wear it on really sweaty causing it to rash up. After I ordered my own bands, I don't have this issue. Another issue is there's like a small crevice around the watch that allows dirt in, which can be a little annoying to keep clean. I also worry about dirt getting inside the watch that could cause damage. I don't recall having this issue when I had the 7. In my photo you can see a little bit of the dirt/dust that snuck into the crevice.
At the end of the day, I love my watch and am happy with my purchase.

Much better than I expected!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] One of the things I really enjoyed so far about this watch is being able to use the Gemini Ai. I have never really used as much before I got to watch, but for some reason having it on my wrist made me more interested. In addition I love how snappy the movement is on the watch aid. The tiles have a better look than my previous watch five. I really think that the biometrics on the Watch 8 give more accurate readings. I wasn't a fan of having to go to a different style of band attachment, but I found that I really like this style. I would highly recommend this watched it anyone that's looking for a new smartwatch.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a great watch with lots of upgraded features. My previous watch was the Watch4. The battery life is almost twice as long lasting almost two days. It has several new health tracking options to get a more comprehensive snapshot of your well-being. It has Galaxy AI built-in, so you can ask questions on the go. It has all the same other functions of older models as well. I like the bigger display and the quicker response time. This is a very solid upgrade for anyone wishing to update their watch!

Stylish fit

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I traded in my Galaxy watch 5 for the Galaxy 8 and am happy with the switch. The squircle is a better fit for my wrist. I have small almost child sized wrist and the 5 was bulky and didn't look that great when I wore it mainly to work. As soon as I got home I took it off because it was uncomfortable. The 8 however is thinner and sits well on my wrist which happens to be kind of square shaped. It looks classy and modern. I really enjoy wearing it.

It's amazing, what this watch can do!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I absolutely love this watch. I'll start with the only negative thing I can say about it, the battery life is terrible. Everything else about it is better than I expected. I couldn't believe how clear the call quality is. Sitting with hands at my side or even while working people can't tell I'm not on my phone. The screen is beautiful and the sensitivity is just right. Even in the brightest light, I have no problem seeing whats on the screen. I love how it interacts with my phone. The Galaxy AI has been super helpful with monitoring my health, primary reason I purchased my watch. It's hard to believe a watch can give you so much information about your body. The details that the sleep tracker provides has been extremely helpful. Not everyone may find it useful but I love that I can control the watch entirely with gestures and my voice. It really is a priceless feature while working. I'm still learning all the cool stuff this watch does but I'm already very satisfied with my purchase and would highly recommend it to anyone.
