The design is sleeker than previous models, making it incredibly comfortable for all-day wear and during sleep. The brighter, more vibrant display is a standout, making it easy to read even in direct sunlight.
But where this watch truly shines is with the integration of Galaxy AI. It’s not just a buzzword; it’s genuinely transformative. The AI-powered health features feel incredibly personalized. The new Energy Score provides a daily snapshot of my physical readiness based on my sleep and activity, offering guidance on whether to push myself or take it easy. The on-wrist coaching is brilliant, with the AI-powered running coach tailoring plans and providing real-time feedback that has already helped me improve my pace and form. Even the sleep tracking is smarter, with the AI offering more detailed insights and suggestions for better rest. Beyond health, the integration of Galaxy AI with Google's Gemini assistant on my wrist is a game-changer for quick, hands-free tasks, from checking the weather to sending a text.
While the battery life is still in line with a typical day, the improved performance and useful AI features make the daily charge well worth it. This is a significant leap forward for Samsung's wearable lineup.

My Watch5 Wirked Better. Should have kept it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The watch 8 is ok. But I don't see a significant difference from my watch 5. It gets much warmer when charging, which is a concern. When I have some of my watch face stats set to update continously, they dont. I have to tap the screen or go in & out of something to get the correct reading. For instance, my weather stats dont always update. Same with heartrate. It doesn't happen all the time but enough to make it frustrating. I should have waited for the bugs to get worked out. The lug connections have been improved, unless you use a wrap-around elastic band. Then one end has an unattractive hump. I'm hoping for improvements soon. I almost returned it, but I had traded in my Watch 5, and would have been left without a smart watch.

All Galaxy devices have a set temperature range, where they operate at their best. While they may feel warm under certain conditions, like charging, this does not affect the device's lifespan or performance. However, if your devices get too warm, it could cause some issues. It has excellent safety functions such as fall alerts and cardiac functions. It helps in my wellness journey. It is also a helpful tool for staying in contact with family. I get alerts regarding texts and phone calls. I can also make calls if needed.

Love it but recieved defective device

Having all the features needed for my workout at my wrist makes working out and tracking my progress easier. Love all the new features and i look forward to using it more. Im sad becuse my device has a manufacturer defect in the screen that resulted in broken glass and cracks across the screen. My warranty repair/replacement was rejected and im still trying to get a resolution.
