[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My initial experience with the new Galaxy Watch8 has been exceptional! From unboxing to setting up and connection to my new Galaxy 25 Ultra, the watch has exceeded my expectations. As a smartwatch user of many brands over the years, the Watch8 provides the functions needed and outperforms my previous watches in many ways: it has an easier interface, the settings and management of options available via watch or Samsung Wear app are outstanding, and it is easily customizable for smooth operation and connection to my phone. I haven't had the chance to use the Galaxy AI yet, but I certainly will! I love that I can answer calls, listen to music and so much more!

I had my old watch for a few years and it was working great, no issues with it. I saw the trade in value and decided to go for an upgrade and I'm very happy i did. I didn't know how much better the new watches are. I will need a different band but the watch itself is better than expected. Tracking steps, larger screen, organizing apps, answering calls, connection to my phone, general service are all much better.

Overall I've been happy with this watch but do have a few small issues that prevent me from rating it 5 stars. First, for the watch face, all of the options have some of the features I'd like but not all of them. I ultimately chose one of the "dashboard" options that has some customizable components but wish I would have been able to choose a time option that does not include seconds however that was not an option nor customizable. My second issue is that overall the watch is no longer circular and is bigger than previous models. Though I knew this when purchasing I wish it was not the case and would lead me to consider alternatives in the future if the size/design does not change in future iterations. My third issue is with the watch bands. Due to the type of connection on this watch there was a larger gap between the watch and my wrist with the band that came with the watch. I had to purchase a third party band to help mitigate this issue though it is still not as flush as I would like. Finally, I wish there was still a gold or rose gold option. I rarely wear silver or black and a gold finish would match better. Overall though the actual function of the watch has been good.

I "upgraded" to the Galaxy 8 from a Active 2 and about the only "upgrade" I really got was that it can track more health information. I was hoping for longer battery life, but I only get about 1.5 days of charge, and it has started losing track of my sleep in for a few hours in the middle of the night for the last several days, so probably pretty safe to say that I am not as happy about this "upgrade" as I was hoping that I would be. Kinda miss my outdated Active 2 honestly.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Very happy with this watch as a switch from a popular fitness watch. It is like having my phone on my wrist, which Im still getting used to, but is so convenient. I use it mostly for notifications and exercise and love that it motivates me to move and helps balance my sleep and activity.
I wish the battery lasted longer, I have to charge it every other day, but otherwise very happy with it.
