Functions are awesome, but the design is a step back from previous editions imo. The large frame behind the main screen that's now added, takes the aesthetics and simplicity. Functions are awesome. Especially liking the new antioxidant index, vascular load etc. Can't wait to see how this tech evolve and what new features get added in future.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve been wearing the Galaxy Watch 8 for a few weeks now, and my favorite thing about it is the comfort—it's noticeably thinner and lighter than my old watch. It sits so flat on my wrist that I genuinely forget I'm wearing it, which is huge for sleep tracking.
The display is beautiful. Samsung always nails the screen, and this one is so bright I can finally read my notifications perfectly even in Texas summer sun.
The addition of the Galaxy AI is also a major win. Asking it to set a timer, or even a more complex query, feels instantly responsive and far more useful than the old voice assistant.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This watch has a battery life of zilch. I can't wear it at night to track my sleep because as soon as I get home I have to put in on the charger. What's the point of having notifications on a watch if I need to limit the notifications to conserve battery? I put my watch on at 5:15 am fully charged only to make it home by 5pm and it be at 15% or lower. EVERYDAY. I experienced the same with my S7 watch so I upgraded thinking the 8 would be better. NO AT ALL. SO DISAPPOINTED

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love this watch. Its comfortable and light weight. Galaxy AI actually helps me achieve more wity this watch. The gesture control is the most useful feature for me. The only downside is battery for me. It does not last more than 2 days.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I just got the watch today. I had reservations because I had a bad experience with the Watch 7. The setup was easy, the screen is very clear as well. It is very lightweight, which is definitely a surprise. It looks very clean. The band was a little tricky to connect but overall it's been a nice addition. Lots of apps, no hiccups so far. I haven't tried many of the Galaxy AI features yet but I'm looking forward to experimenting.
