Not as easy

Installed a Nest E on recommendation of a professional and friends. Installation was difficult as an adapter plate was needed (steel box behind thermostat) and the wires would not easily stay clamped in the Nest terminals. They would come loose and the Nest, A/C would not function properly. But now works well and remote control is great.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Worth every penny

I have wanted this type of thermostat for years but never thought I could afford them until the "e" came along. It's a great piece of hardware and works as advertised. It was super easy to install and looks great. I installed one this weekend and have a second one to install in the near future.

Great Value Smart Thrmostat

The Nest E is a great alternative to the standard nest. Though it does use plastics to bring the price down, it still has a clean fresh look that is still far better than the standard dial it replaced. Easy insulation and super easy app. The schedule learning is excellent and within a week I rarely find myself needing to manually change the temperature. Overall a great unit.

This is my second nest thermostat in the first one was the second generation this song was the next generation E. Appearance wise I think the standard Nest thermostat looks better But functionally it works equally as well at a considerable savings which I couldn’t ignore. Follow the installation steps and you’ll see how simple it is.

I love this thermostat! It was very easy to install, as all Nest Products are. Very easy to set up, use, and manage. It has truly saved me a lot of money on my energy bill since I upgraded by efficiently remembering my settings and switching to Eco Mode. It also looks fantastic: sophisticated without being too flashy. I highly recommend it!
