Nice upgrade from old school programmable unit!

The install was pretty straight forward, recommend getting help from if you aren't inclined to DIY working. The Nest E instantly started saving energy and provided a whole new level of awareness and visibility to hvac energy usage.

Best value smart thermostat

We got this to replace a old honeywell 5+2 thermostat. The scheduling and home/away feature saves us money since if we forget to turn off the furnace/ac when we leave, it will do it automatically or we can check or do it remotely on the app. The setup was easy, although we did have to hook up the C wire to get the battery to charge. Other than that, it is a great smart home addition!

"John" was a big help when I had a problem connecting it to my cellphone. Had to turn off my WIFI and allow my phone to be a hotspot. After connecting it to the thermostat I then reconnected to the WIFI and all was good.

Easier installation than expected!

I installed my Nest E thermostat myself, other than having to connect a new wire to my furnace and the thermostat (c-wire, the common wire) everything went extremely smooth!
I would recommend this to a friend!

Cute little gadget

Old thermostat was bad.If it was 63 in house had to turn heat up to 72 to turn on. This came yesterday with a rebate with my electric company.I set it up in 20 min. Hooked it in to app and google mini so I can ask google to turn heat up or down.It tells you on screen what to do. Only issue was when I turned off power I had no internet &couldn't use app for set up had to read tiny directions.
