Good smart thermostat

I bought the this thermostat to replace a broken one in our bedroom. I have two other Nest thermostats but the bigger one or the Learning thermostat. I had did not install the other two. This was my first time installing a thermostat. It was very easy to install and took no time at all. I like the look and the frosted. My wife was happy that it matched our bedroom walls. We love it.

A GREAT start

We got the Nest THermostat E to replace an older "intelligent" thermostat. Installation is quick and simple. HOWEVER it does not come charged enough to get connected to your network. I plugged mine into the USB charge port and fully charged it before installing it. Otherwise it would have taken 36 hours to charge via the thermostat wires we have.

This was worth the investment. I love the convince of being able to operate my thermostat from my bed if I get to hot or cold without leaving my room.

I recently purchased the Nest Thermostat and am very pleased with my purchase. It looks beautiful and functions beautifully. I was surprised how you just slide your finger around it to change it. I also enjoy new electronics and love monitoring from my phone. A very pleased customer.

Simple thermostat for a simple garage heater

Connected the Nest Thermostat E to a Mr. Heater Big Maxx in my garage to add the ability to remotely monitor my garage temperature as well as remotely control the heater. Winters in the mid-west often stay below freezing with wind chills near 0 degrees Fahrenheit which makes the garage uncomfortable to work in. It was simple to connect R, W, C, (and G). G was optional for fan-only operation.

Thermostat Upgrade

Replaced our old thermostat with the Nest E after a recent neighborhood power outage shorted out our old one. Installed it myself in less than 10 minutes then followed the easy setup guide. I love this one! It monitors humidity in our home and can be controlled from my phone when not home. I personally reccomend this product to everyone.
