Thermostat of the future

The Nest Thermostat E was the greatest investment I have made in 2020. It has saved me $$$ in fuel/energy costs. Being able to adjust and monitor temperature and usage from the app. is a great feature. When I plan to move in the future I will definitely purchase this thermostat or the newest version.

Great Product!

I installed a Google nest thermostat yesterday with the help of my son-in-law. I was surprised that I could do this mostly on my own! He was not. The directions were clearly written and I could follow them correctly on the first try. It’s winter, so when I left the house shortly after installing this thermostat, I wondered what temperature I’d be returning to several hours later. Warm and cozy!

Missing key feature

Overall very good device but missing ability to override schedule and temporarily HOLD a temperature. Seems odd that if I go away for a long weekend, I can’t just set it at 64 degrees until I come back. I need to go into each day and adjust the temps individually. Annoying, very. Other than that obvious omission, this is easy to set up, use and works great!

The Nest E is sleek and regal in design. The capabilities are easy to understand and how to apply them. Once downloaded, the app can assist with scheduling temperatures or manually setting them.
