This thermostat works beautifully. Easy to install, it was harder to figure out if it would work with my existing set up. I love being able to control the temperature while I am away and my dogs are home. I also love being able to tell google to turn down the temperature. I didn't see the value in the higher thermostat for the price difference, features didn't seem worth the added price.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I've never installed a thermostat before. Reading the instructions, it seemed unbelievably easy with only 4 wires to connect. Sure enough, that's what I had connected to the old thermostat and in 5 minutes it was working and connected!

I upgraded my existing Honeywell thermostat with the Nest E. The setup was straightforward. In my case, I had 4 wires in the old thermostat - R, Y, G and W and my system was compatible. I did not have an existing C-Wire, turns out I did not need one. Build Quality is great, Setup super easy, and there is also a final testing phase - to ensure that all is well! Nice. Works right out the box.

I love to be able to safe energy when I am not home. The “Home/Away” assistance tech through WiFi connection is one of my favorite options on my new Nest Thermostat E! It is a modern and discrete device. I recommend it 100%.

We just installed earlier this week. Looks great & very easy to use. Especially nice to be able to change the temp from my cell no matter where we are in case we forgot to turn it down or up depending on the time of the year. Looks great too!
