Easy to set up, learns quickly

Super easy to set up using a combination of the written instructions included with the thermostat and video on the website. No issues whatsoever. Learns routine quickly but I actually sit down every week and set the schedule too, since my work schedule is all over the place and it is so easy. Integration with our existing Nest app went very smoothly as well. I'm all about this thing!

Great for our vacation home

It is easy to control the temperature while we are away. We plan on raising the temperature a day or so before we plan our next trip to our second home.

Works extremely well, the installation was a breeze with help from the Nest Support team. They were immensely patient, and provided enough info for me to feel confident tackling the replacement on my own. The app is well thought out and practical, and the function definitely matches the quality of the form. Glad I purchased, would highly recommend

Totally Silent

I replaced a Honeywell programmable that had a loud click when the temperature went on .. the nest is completely silent..
I use the nest and enabled with my iPhone... I. E the nest automatically uses my iPhone location to know I’m not home and automatically goes to eco/low temp... and automatically turns on when I drive up (with my iPhone)... nothing to ever think about.

We purchased 2 of these for our home because we have 2 separate AC units, and installation was EASY -- in terms of difficulty, I'd say easier than assembling IKEA furniture but maybe harder than plugging in a lamp. They look great, the app is easy to use, and we are already saving money on electricity. These will pay for themselves in our house within a year.
