Works great and not a bad price point

You can tell a lot of thought went into making setting up and using the Nest E as painless as possible... and they succeeded! I've never had it's fancier big brother so all I know is the E..it has 90% of the features I need in the location I'm using it in (an upstairs studio). It's been 3 days and I love it! Probably would opt for the upscale model (and may need to for the main thermostat)

Easy Peasy Lemon Squeezy

In order to figure out installation, I had to reach out to customer service because I have a non-standard HVAC system. I was initially concerned about that, but it turns out they knew exactly how to help me and even sent a detailed COLORIZED wiring diagram to walk me through it. I was able to install my new thermostat in about 20 minutes with no special tools required. We LOVE our new Nest!

Great Thermostat!

Love this thermostat. It’s great at maintaining and regulating the temperature. The filter reminder feature and air wave features are really economical. I wish you could adjust the display to easily be seen from across the room, even with that if still recommend this thermostat.

It was quick and easy to set up. It enables me to keep our vacation home set on Eco setting when not there and adjust the settings remotely prior to arrival. Paid for itself in first three months.

Great thermostat

We recently bought a house and put in central air... the installers used a Nest Thermostat with the install. I had no idea what to expect, but I really love the thermostat. It’s easy to use, including the app. I had to use a YouTube video initially to make sure I was using everything correctly, and now that we’ve been living her for a few weeks and it’s learning our behavior, we’re happy with it!

Love the product, but the pamphlet is wrong regarding jumpers and dual transformer systems not being compatible with the E. The app is correct in not containing this prohibition, and my dual transformer (RH - RC jumper) works fine. The Chat rep was also very patient and helpful. The unit has lots of functionality and looks good. Very satisfied.

This product was a lot easier to install than I thought it would be. Once installed, downloading the app may have been the longest part of setting it up. It blends in to the background which is so great since I have a 4 year old who had actually messed with our old thermostat to the point of breaking it. He hasn't even noticed the nest thermostat. I would definitely recommend it.
