Great Device to Control Your House Temps

After looking at a number of internet controllable thermostats, I felt the Nest Thermostat-E would serve all my needs. I travel and leave the house a lot, so it is nice to have the Nest Thermostat-E to monitor and control the temp in the house. Also, the safety monitor that turns on your Heat/AC at set temps when the unit is completely off is a very nice feature. The price was reasonable.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I bought it to be able to switch from heat to cool , during season changing. It has worked well so far. I did have to reset it one time. I was able to turn off all the fancy automatic stuff. I am in complete control of the temps.

Nest Thermostat E - Needs Charging?

I just installed the thermostat and so far, it works great....no operational complaints. Just a word of caution. Charging! I could not complete the setup as the unit would not get beyond the first step in the process (identifying my language). It would then shut down. I contacted support (via chat) and eventually learned the unit needed to be charged.....not mentioned in the documentation.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I research before I purchase electronic products. A professional heating and air-conditioning servicer told me that the "smart thermostats" were complex and required a "C" wire to install. When I told him that I had reviewed the Nest Thermostat E, he corrected himself to strongly endorse the Nest Thermostat E.

Easy to install, you just got get through the app to do it better. Over all, I liked it.

The Nest is a good smart thermostat provided the following caviets are considered. The first one only lasted eleven months (the warranty is one year) as the internal battery would not hold a charge. Google was prompt in shipping out a replacement which was easily installed.
