Set a schedule I wanted it to follow and during a week's time made adjustments on it and thermostat learned our schedule. I love it very easy to install nest provides everything you need to get up and going.

The device was simple to install. The app works well. The device interfaces with other services well. It's super convenient. It has more features than what I can handle after the first few days but I look forward to exploring them in the future.

Adjusting the heat has never been so much fun. The Nest E was quick and easy to install, looks discrete on the white walls of my 1920s home, and is intuitive to operate. It quickly made my wife and I more conscious of our energy consumption, and prompted us to test "how low we can go" as far as setting a default temperature when we are home in the evenings.
Our bedtime is all over the map, so my favorite feature is being able to turn down the heat via my phone, after crawling into bed each night. This feature alone is probably shaving 5-10 hours/week off the time our heat is turned up in the evenings.

Easy to install

I wanted to install a WiFi thermostat, but found out I didn't have a common wire. Not wanting to hire someone to install a common wire, I stumbled upon the Nest Thermostat E as a potential option for my wiring setup. I was skeptical at first, but I went ahead with the installation, and in minute, the thermostat was setup and I was very impressed. It looks great in my hallway and the wife really liked it (which is the only confirmation I really needed!). I love being able to see my temperature from wherever I am, changing it when I forget to adjust before leaving or arriving home, and seeing my historical temps online. I highly recommend this to anyone without a common wire setup that is willing to try something like this out. Hopefully, you won't regret it just like I didn't regret it!

I very much enjoy my thermostat. I set it up quickly myself and i have no more electrical experience then the average guy does. It has saved me money in the first couple months of use and I'm excited to see more savings. They also look sleek which is a bonus. The app runs smoothly, so no troubles there.
