Works great, very happy with my Nest E

I got my Nest Thermostat E as a gift and it has been one of the best gifts I have ever gotten. You have no idea just how convenient it is to control your home's temperature from anywhere. We can turn up the heat from the comfort of our bed, or make sure the house isn't too hot for our kitty while we are at work. It was very easy to install myself and I would recommend it to anyone.

Love how simple and elegant it is. You don’t know it’s there as this design blends right in and hides. I love it. Especially when I see the history report and know it hasn’t been running when no one is home!

This is a very good option. I am selling my house I am taking my old 2nd generation with me. Honestly, I use the phone app mainly to control my Thermostat! So, the wall unit doesn't have to be all that fancy!

Smart buy!

We have been looking at smart thermostats for a while, and had already planned on someday getting a Nest. Then, the other day, my wife pointed out that our fan had been running all day... blowing cool air (the heat/AC wasn't on). So I turned the thermostat to off, fan on auto... and the fan kept running. Took the thermostat off the wall, and the fan quit. So off to the big blue store I went! Installation took only a couple minutes, probably half of that time I was taking notes/pictures of the existing wiring. The included trim plate covered the spot on the wall where the old thermostat lived, and the wires clicked in easily. Setup was a breeze, and it was easy to "share" control with my wife so she has the same access to the Nest that I have. Very cool! And it has to be more efficient than running the fan 24/7

It was the best investment we made for our house. Even though it wasn't even that expensive. It will do nothing but save you money in the long run. Wisconsin can have so brutal winters and I feel like the nest preforms better and more efficiently then my previous thermostat.

I love how the Nest helps me to save energy. It's easy to set up your schedule so that you're not heating/cooling your home when you're not there. There are lots of other features to help you save energy as well. It's so simple and convenient. I recommend it to everyone!

We have an older hvac unit. It has not seemed to consistently heat and cool for a couple of years, even after new insulation in out attic, and new low-e/argon windows. I read the reviews on several of the traditional thermostats sold at the home improvement stores and was not impressed. Had not planned on spending the extra for a smart thermostat. So glad I did. Does an excellent job maintaining our house at whatever temperature we select. We love that it is programmable, that we can adjust it easily either at the thermostat, or on our phones.
