Easy Integration

The Nest was easy to install and works well with Alexa. I had a different smart thermostat in my house, but it didn't talk to Alexa, only was usable from my smart phone. When I saw the Nest, I had to have it. It looks so much better and now I can control it by voice without even having to get my phone. Ok, that sound really lazy, but it is so convenient.
I would recommend this to a friend!

My Nest

I receives this as a Christmas gift from my son. He installed it for me in 10 minutes. I love how the Nest knows when I am not home and keeps the temperature at a degree, so my furnace does not keep running when no one is in the house. I also love the app set up on my phone. I adjust the heat in the morning on my phone before I come downstairs and also before I get home from work. It is so nice to walk into a warm home. It is also so easy to read compared to the old thermostat I had on the wall. And also very stylish. I also love the app and love that I can look up my usage anytime of the day. There are so many things you can do with the app. I definitely recommend anyone if you are thinking of purchasing the Nest, dont wait. You will be so glad you did!!

Purchased 2 months ago. I've now installed a few of the Nest Thermostats, this one was just as easy to install. The frosted appearance blends into the decor and the app is easy to use.

Great potential!

Still getting adjusted to Nest thermostat but expecting great things from it! App is a little too basic and doesn’t offer a lot of details about how or when you’re being more economical, doesn’t show the actual temps in room, and only gives a basic set up plan. Overall, I believe time will help these issues. We just started using after Christmas 2017. Love the look of the thermostat and how it picks up when we are home and when away. Fairly easy to install and set up.

A Fun Thermostat?!

These are words you say when talking to friends/coworkers about the latest movie you just saw....but a thermostat....??! That's what the Thermostat E is making me do. I'm loving this thing so far. The build quality is much better than I imagined. I expected some sloppiness and flexing- this is the "inexpensive" version after all - but no, it's solid and feels great.
And the instructions - I mean, these are the best instructions I've ever used; clean, clear, accurate, FUN. I wanted there to be more!
Performance so far has been great. Changing the temp while away from home is too easy. Hearing it fire up in the AM when I wake because it 'just knows', just makes me smile.
Playing nice with Google Assistant is an "awesome" inducing statement as well. So easy to just yell out instructions - LOVE IT.
All around I'm very happy with this and would recommend it - you won't be disappointed.

Overall great deal

I was incredibly interested in the original Nest but couldn't bring myself to spending that kind of money to be an early adopter. Was very excited when the Nest e thermostat was anounced.
This thermostat is so much better than I can put into words. Installation was a breeze and documentation is great. App is excellent and intuitive. The monthly energy reports are great and full of information and recommendations.
Going on vacation was so much easier without having to worry about my heat going out or pipes bursting from the subzero climate I live in. The Eco mode and other feature are designed to save money and energy and make you thermostat do the work for you.
My only issue with this is that when I go to turn the heat or cooling on, it should also give a fan/circulate only option. Instead it is separate and can be turned on for certain durations.

Great Product

Being able to review the history of my utility usage on a day by day basis and having the thermostat be able to go to more economical setting automatically while I’m away from the house has helped me reduce my monthly bills. I’ll be taking this thermostat with me if I ever move out of the house.
