Very nice thermostat

I purchased this thermostat because the one I had was quick cycleing my unit. Not gonna day the name but it rhymes with bunny well. Anyhow, it was easy to setup (much easier than the other) and looks nice on the wall. App works well and looks nice. Will buy again in the future if needed.

If you like gadgets, you won't be disappointed. The rotating ring has a premium feel to it. The GUI is slick. The screen is clean (honestly, I'd choose the E over the original just for the screen - I love the clouded white and the lower resolution doesn't matter, it's a thermostat lul). The thermostat itself looks good anywhere. Setup is easy. The app is nice and can be improved indefinitely with software updates. Nest was recently re-absorbed into Alphabet/Google so if you like the Google ecosystem, even better for you.

Just what I was looking for.

I have a simple steam heat system, with a two wire system. I was looking for something so I could remotely control and monitor the temperature while away. I spend winters where it is warm, and didn't want to continue asking people to check the heat and the house. It is exactly what I was looking for. The fact it also shows humidity means I can be sure that there is not a terrible leak while away.

This was very easy to install and was compatible with our oil boiler and baseboard heat. Love that I can control remotely. Seems to be conserving energy. Going to get one upstairs come summer time for our ac

Simple and elegant

This is the best thermostat I have owned. It was incredibly easy to install and both the app and manual controls are easy to use.
I was concerned about the plastic body and lower resolution LCD, but oce mounted the thermostat looks clean and elegant. The lower resolution is not a problem at all, the display is crisp and clear.
Highly recommended.
