Simple to use, Easy to install

I received this thermostat as a gift and was excited to install it. We had an old fashioned mercury type thermostat that was not working right so it was a no brainer for the person giving the gift !
The first thing I did was download the NEST app for my iPhone. This was easy to install and follow the prompts while installing the thermostat.
When went to install the thermostat, I wasn't overwhelmed with anxiety because everything was well laid out in the installation instructions. It was installed in a about 15 minutes and I had it connected to my WiFi in no time.
I have had the thermostat installed now for about a week and have been able to look at the history of what my boiler has been doing throughout the day and what is great is that the NEST learns from day to day and adjusts heating and cooling cycles based on what it learned from the day before.
I am very happy about this gift and tell everyone about it when the subject comes up. I still have one more zone in my house to hook up another thermostat to and I'll be sure to use a NEST when i do !

If, like myself, you don't need a high-res display, the Nest E is absolutely great. I love the flexibility of the scheduling and being able to control my home while away. The reports of how much my furnace has run and when I'm saving energy are wonderful, and the whole thing was very easy to setup. Love it!

Bought this after getting other smart home products and wanting to continue to convert. The thermostat was extremely easy to install, just have to follow colored wire diagrams...so very easy! Step by step setup instructions were easy to follow. After a couple days leaving it with the 'factory settings, I made just a couple adjustments to suit our needs. Overall, it's been a great thermostat!

I love my neat thermostat

Great product! I'd highly recommend. It's easy to just open up the app and turn my thermostat up an hour or two before I get home. It also really easy to set up the scheduling on the app. Looks clean and modern hanging on the wall too.
