IF YOU DONT HAVE ONE..GET ONE

Great new feature in my home. Easy installation with little or no experience in HVAC or electrical. Removal and installation took me less time then figuring out what breaker in my panel shut the air conditioning off! No need for air in the house yet but in travel for work often and the idea of being able to control my house temperature from anywhere is a sigh of relief.
I would recommend this to a friend!

This thermostat was easy to install, and usable in minutes. It is simpler to use compared to an earlier Nest Thermostat that I have used at another residence.

Easy to Use

I love my new thermostat! It's easy and works like a charm! The engineers really put a lot of thought into this one.
My only problem was with the installation. The compatibility tool on the website said it would work with my 4 wire system. But, the Nest app installation instructions didn't support my system. It wanted me to hire an installer. I'm a technician so I figured it out. Hope this helps.

Just installed our new Nest E and couldn’t be happier. Very well made, very easy to install, better than expected on ease of install and was up and running in full automation in no time. Looks pretty dang cool too.

Install issue

Good instructions in the box and the app if used while installing. The issue-mounting to the wall with drywall as the backing. The enclosed screws don't work. I bought a kit with drywall anchors and screws the same size to mount the thermostat; the screws in the thermostat box spun in place and didn't support the thermostat. Buy a anchor kit to mount.

This is a must do for every home with an old thermostat or for a new installation. Affordable price to begin with, easy setup for today’s average person familiarize with consumers electronic products. Is like carrying your thermostat mobile on your cellphone that will help you to control, manage and save energy.
