Very Good Thermostat

The Nest E was extremely easy to install, setup, and start using. Tons of functionality. I am not sure what the difference is between the E and the regular Nest other than appearance/display. Very good experience.

Fantastic product

I am a new homeowner and am by no means a handy person - but with a few tools I was able to install my Nest thermostat in about 30 minutes. It's saving me on my energy bills and I love how fantastically simple it is to program via the app.
I would recommend this to a friend!

This was easy to install, excellent instructions. Once I let go of the "set timer " mentality I loved how it learned my patterns.
It was nice to have the ability to adjust temps when away from home. The "E" was less expensive of the two thermostats but feel it has all the same features.
I also liked the ascetics of the white & smaller thermostat. I am enjoying the convience of the smart vs mechanical.

That's how my grandkids say it is coming into our house. And we have to agree! I installed the Thermostat is less than 30 mins and that includes uninstalling the old one and watching a video. My wife lives the fact that she can adjust it from anywhere, phone, computer, at the Thermostat itself.
I have a friend who even has it working with Alexa. We also have 2 NEST outdoor cameras. It is nice to have it all at our fingetips. If you have an elderly or physically challenged person this would be perfect.
We are installing the smoke/carbon monoxide detector next.
