I upgraded my 2nd floor thermostat to a Nest E after getting a Nest Learning for the 1st floor. Value for money, I think the E is better than the Learning as long as the E is compatible with one’s Hvac system.
Customer support was also great when I had questions and needed some guidance with the installation process.
This thermostat is by far the best you can get for the price. I thought that I wouldn't like the cloudy display, but after seeing it I really like it. Be sure you have the right wiring and I would also make sure you a have a c-wire, it makes everything better and you don't have to worry. If you don't have a c-wire, make sure you charge it when you get it or it wont turn on immediately.
Great Device, Easy Set-up if you do your homework!

The Nest Thermostat E is a great thermostat, and it is easy to set-up yourself if..... 1. You have gone to the nest website and made sure your current system is compatible. 2. You KNOW exactly what system you have - in particular, do you have a heat pump? This is IMPORTANT you may set-up wrong if you do have one and think you don't!!
I would've gotten this eventually, but it came with our new unit. The eco settings are a huge plus for the wife and I. We both really enjoy the use of the app to control the unit
I already owned the Nest learning thermostat. Needed one more for the master bedroom. Didn't want to spend too much. Compare the specs, and liked the frosty look and took a chance. I must say I'm am so glad I got the nest E. Installation was a breeze and it blends so perfect with my room. Happy customer
