We purchased this for our vacation home in the mountains. We like all the functions including eco mode which allows the inside temp to remain above freezing so we don't have to be concerned about pipes or high propane bills. We also like the ability to adjust our thermostat from anouther state and the ability to view outside temps and humidity. Very reliable device!

I love everything about this product other than its appearance!! It’s easy to instal, use, and I love that I can control it from my smart phone. The only thing I found difficult is setting up a schedule, but I will watch a YouTube video and figure it out.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Clean and easy

This installation was extremely easy. All the instructions were easy to follow. Getting it up on the wall was done in less than 20 minutes. I appreciate the integration and access via the app, and I use our Google Mini to control it via voice. The app scheduling option was one of the most efficient to program. The frosted, watercolor look of the display is BEAUTIFUL!

So far, so really cool...

I've only had my Nest E for a weekend but it is already working as expected. Spring in NE is a chilly/cold in the morning and at night, warm during the day. Kept forgetting to turn the heat off before leaving for work. Nest's away function solved this. Installation was easy and it was able to activate furnace immediately. I recommend using the official Nest How To video on YouTube to install.

More bang for the buck

Expected a low end Nest, this isn't low end. Might not have HD screen, metal ring, farsight feature, or temp option, but has everything else in an even more minimal looking exterior for fraction of the price! I love this unit. Real test of seeing a lower bill yet to come in, but hopeful. Love the remote access and auto eco mode, now that set up properly.

Quality product. Modern and clean look, despite not being stainless steel or copper. Smart thermostat, at times too smart. Programmable and customizable, and Eco mode when the building is empty.

Easy to install

My husband and I installed 2 nest thermostats in less than 20 minutes, including installing the app on my phone. I love that I can lower the heat when I am going out for the day and raise it before returning so the house is warm when I return.
