I highly recommend the Nest E because it modernizes your home, and it's easy to install and use. Be on the lookout for rebates and rewards through your energy supplier. I ended up getting mine for free after purchasing on sale and a rebate through ComEd.

Easy and simple to use thermostat. Love the Eco setting and the ease or turning on or off when you are away from home.

An auxiliary temperature control device

An ideal way to monitor and control the temperature in an out building. This occasionally used workshop space can be brought to temperature before going out there and can be returned to maintenance temperature from the house or any location. I like it.

I was offered a choice of thermostats through a energy program by my power company. The Nest E was one of them and I was glad because I had been researching it. It came with very good instructions and installation and set-up were a breeze. I had the old thermostat removed and the Nest E installed in about fifteen minutes. The rest of the setup was easy too.
