The Nest E thermostat is simpler than the learning thermostats. I have both. I really like the thermostat to just stay where I put it, especially since I can change it from the app on my phone from anywhere, from bed to 1000 miles away. These Nest thermostats have been trouble free, look great, and are a no brainer to install and use.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Wish I had of install this earlier. So easy to install, using the utube video made it a snap. It took more time to screw in the plate than to do anything else.

This is my third NEST Thermostat. The "E" was less expensive than my other (Gen 2) thermostats and appears to have the same functionality. I control my thermostats remotely...sometimes from overseas. The NEST app makes it easy. I also use a Google Home Mini to control them by voice command. In all, this is a great-looking unit that blends into home environments and functions superbly.

Great ovaral!
One negative, I "hooked up" both nets E thermostats to my router and gues what, it slows down my internet totally and I have no cheap plan at all.

Fabulous Find

I'm 71 and found the Nest installation a breeze. We have two homes and I love being able to control the temps as we travel between them on the simple-to-use app. Saved $49 on our power bill the first month & with rebates, that about paid for them. I didn't expect Nest would notice when we're gone and adjust the temps. Great product. I helped a friend install one. She loves hers. Two happy ladies.

I cannot imagine life before my Nest Thermostat. It has energy saving features that help people save on their heating & cooling costs. The ease of use is amazing I can control it with my smartphone app or even Amazon Alexa. Most importantly I can check in remotely to make sure the temperature is good for my parrots and dog. LOVE IT!!!!

Sleek design that just works

The Nest E Thermostat is a great addition to a home to control temperature. Sleek design, very simplistic, but packed with powerful features. We use this thermostat to control the HVAC unit in our bonus room over the garage, and it is a perfect compliment to the Generation 3 that we have downstairs. We can control both thermostats through the Nest app.

Fantastic Upgrade to 80's System

We bought one Nest E to better control the temps in our 80's home. The NEST website was excellent, I was able to compare the wiring of our existing system and the web page produced the wiring configuration for the Nest E. The App to control is very intuitive. We liked the Nest E so much we also upgraded our system upstairs. We also added a Temp Sensor to control the temp in our bedroom
