Great thermostat!

Only one complaint, which may be user error. I’ve discovered it has switched several times to home away assist when we’re home. This has caused the thermostat to stop running and caused our house to heat up to over 80 degrees. Otherwise, usability and looks get a strong 5 star rating!

Great Upgrade

Replacing my old programmable thermostats was relatively easy. Had some initial problems connecting first floor unit (which was due to "battery level low") that was resolved the next morning. The second floor thermostat connecting immediately. Looking forward to be able to control by thermostats with my Iphone. So far, very pleased!

Totally Worth it

I wanted to update my old non-programmable thermostat and thought why not get one that will work with my phone and smart speaker. I am so glad I did. Shortly after purchasing I had a home energy audit and they let me know why the fan stays on when the air turns off, it's to push out the cold air produced from the A/C so it doesn't just sit in the ducts. On top of that, ease of installation!

I have 2 A/C units in my home. I wanted to make sure they run at optimal efficiency. Both Nest can communicate to me at the same time. Within 2 days, they have already learned my comfort in the home. I even had to get a new internet service and the Nests reconnected with no problems. Great product with an old home.
