Got the thermostat, installed in about 12 minutes. Installed the app and was ready to go in less than 15 minutes total. Best looking thermostat out there, live the way it comes alive when you walk up. Easy to read and beautiful display. Nice looking thermostat, impressive and works fabulous. May get 2 more, looks, reliability and monitor when away.

I think its a big coincidence but my Nest matches the color of my apartment walls. This makes it blend in even more. It was super easy to set up. When I was looking at the manual I was a bit intimidated but the app helps explains a lot. I definitely plan on getting more Nest products if my complex allows it.

Saving money on power bill with nest

We had our nest installed with a vivint home security system. Once we got it programmed it worked fine. I can already tell a difference in our power bill and electricity used by having it control the temperature when we are gone. I found it very easy to program the scheduling feature of it. The phone app works very well and is easy to use.

Perfect for beach rental!

We purchased this to replace a traditional thermostat in a beach condo that will be rented. We wanted to be able to prevent renters from changing the temperature lower or higher than a designated ratio that we decided on. No problem for the Nest to handle this. We also wanted to be able to monitor the temperature remotely from another state, and the Nest fit the bill with this task, too. Awesome!

Does Everything I Want a Thermostat to Do

I bought the Nest E thinking it was the stripped down, cheapo version of the original. I was pleasantly surprised to find that, while the Nest E was less expensive, the build quality was still solid and all the features I had heard about from friends and family who owned the original were included in the Nest E. After 3 months of use I haven't had a single issue, no need to reset/restart at all.

After install smooth sailing

I had a rough install, I spent about 1.5 hours trying to do it on my own, then the same amount of time with someone on customer service... after all of that we realized that I had a faulty product. Thankfully the Beth, Bath & Beyond I bought it from was still open. I ran over and did an exchange, no fuss. The 2nd unit install took about 10 minutes. Since then the nest has been awesome! App gets A
