Replaced our old thermostat and this has been a great improvement. Design is sharp, installation was pretty easy-read the directions and use the app. Its operating great, saving us money and keeping us comfortable. No brainer.

An excellent thermostat

The Nest Thermostat E really does an excellent job as a smart thermostat. It has more options and functions than one would expect to see in a thermostat for the price. The installation is very straightforward and the best thing about the thermostat is how simple it can really be to operate. I really enjoy how subtle the thermostat appears on my wall. It rather blends in with everything else.

Beautiful Aestics & UX with a couple hiccups

Pretty happy with the Therm-E + extra sensor as my first foray into Next products. Dig it's dreamy cloud quality & it doesn't flash on with screaming colors sending my heart racing. I do like modern techie stuff, but the gentleness really "fits" our calm decor. History is invaluable, app works flawlessly. 2 suggestions - to be able to glance at it and see current temp + play better with others

This is my 2nd NEST thermostat- and I upgraded to this. I also have a NEST remote sensor...
I can see - from anywhere in the world- the temperature in the $hed. The $hed is my detached theater/man cave that has our 65" HDTV & Pellet stove.

I had done a lot of research on smart thermometers and ultimately chose the Nest E. I had a friend install it for me and he was so impressed with the ease of installation and the savings it would incur, he bought one for his home the next day.
I love being able to check the temperature while away as well as the option to schedule it for the week. I haven't owned it long but I'm glad I bought it.
