I initially attempted to install a competitor thermostat that required a common wire and that was a nightmare. The nest product was a snap to install.

Great So Far!

We have only owned the Nest Thermostat E for a few days, so we have not seen our energy usage yet. Other than waiting for that information and the effectiveness of the new set-up, the installation was pretty easy and it looks great in our apartment. There was some small confusion during set-up after the device was installed, but was quickly overcome.
I would recommend this to a friend!

This product was the easiest to install, not only was there easy to understand directions but also links to pictures of products wiring based on all types of possible replacements.

From the time I opened the box to my system running was under 10 minutes. A quick check for compatibility, then took the old thermostat off the wall, wired up the new one, downloaded the app, and without a hitch the process was complete. Connected to my Google Home without a problem and now I am looking forward to the benefits of controlling my heat and air.

This nest thermo replaced an old one and I love this thing! It was easy to set up, (I did have to paint the wall where the old one left it's mark). It is very intuitive. I use their cameras so I already had the app and it just added the thremo to my list of Nest products. Very simple. I also purchased the remote sensor and that is a real energy saver! No more overheating our room. Love
