Nest Thermostat E works great

I bought this recently and installed it in my home. I found the installation pretty logical, although it does take a little while. The Nest site states that it will work on a 2 wire system, ( I use it for heat only) but I chose to run a new 3 wire connection. Once the wire was in, the hook-up was very easy.
The feature where I can control my thermostat from anywhere with my phone works great.

Fantastic Smart Thermostat !

After taking pics of original thermostat setting this up in 5 minutes,. Two minutes disconnecting the old Honeywell. The nest asks for what colors you see from the old thermostat. It'll tell you if its compatible with the nest. Itll tell you where to fasten the color wires into the quick connect wire circle.the nest thermostat will display local networks (select 2.4 htz band. Important!

Our daughter bought the unit for a Christmas present. I had put off changing in years past because I thought it was a complicated process to replace our old unit. I was pleasantly surprised with the ease of the installation process for the Nest. It took us about 20-30 minutes start to finish. It's nice to have the programmable schedule. Our energy co. offered a nice discount as well.

Having owned Nest thermostats in prior homes, I was pleased to purchase the Nest Thermostat E to replace the builder supplied thermostat in my newly built home. The E was as expected - easy to set up with a lovely appearance. Highly recommended.

We received a letter from Synergy Corp about installing the Nest in our residence. Since we like smart technology we decided to give it a go, plus Synergy picked up the cost so it was a no brainer.
Since we have started using it and having it learn our habits we do not have to readjust the thermostat as we did with the old one. We now can control our temps via tablet, smartphone, or Alexa. Thanks
