Love my Nest

I use my Nest in an unusual way. My primary heating source is a hand fed coal furnace that is separate from my Nest controlled oil fired furnace. The Nest allows me to turn up the heat on my oil fired furnace when we are to be away for an extended period of time or if my coal furnace is not putting out enough heat.

Easy to setup, easier to use

I'm pretty handy, but total install time was less than 10 minutes. I love being able to change the temp from anywhere (even from bed! No one likes to get out of bed to change the thermostat). Excited for the energy savings, the auto schedule and the integration with my other nest hardware!

I have had the nest E thermostat for 2 days. I am happy I bought one. I installed it myself using the written directions that came with it. I am a 47 yr old woman. I like the look and love that I can control it from my phone. I added my daughter to the account and she can also control it on the app. I have animals so this will be a nice perk to make sure they are comfy when I'm not home.

We purchased and installed 2 Nest E thermostats from our electric supplier at a good discount which I believe most have access to. They are a great product, easy to use. Haven't been installed long enough to see if they help energy use yet.
