[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have a full size blender that comes with travel cups, but I’m not always happy with how the travel cups blend and I don’t want to use the full size for one serving. This Ninja portable blender is great for that. It is easy to use and assemble. I use a lot of frozen fruits/veggies and make really thick smoothies, so sometimes I have to run the blender multiple times to get everything smooth. The good part is that I can easily shake it in case it starts slowing due to thick textures. I can always leave some of the smoothie for later and if it starts separating, it’s easy to blend it again. This Ninja is easy to assemble and clean. It is not heavy and fits good amount of smoothie.

I just purchased the Blast and have used it several times. Its easy to clean and just sits right on my counter. I can think of nothing negative and if you are thinking of getting..GET IT!

Smoothest smoothies ever!

I bought two of these in denim, wish I had waited for cranberry though, for my husband for our anniversary. We previously had an Oster portable blender but it wasn’t as convenient as this and the charging cable was just as expensive as the blender for a replacement. When I came across this, I knew I had to have one, because it’s Ninja, one of the best brands around and everything in my house is near enough a Ninja or Shark product. I bought one for me and one for my husband. This is definitely much more quiet than normal blenders. It did take like three rounds of blending in order for my smoothie to be very smooth, by that I mean super creamy and thick. I used frozen fruits and milk and it went through it no problem. Please note you can’t expect the shake with frozen fruits is going to be smooth the first time around as it’s not a plug in blender. Which is fine for me, as long as it has charge to blend that perfect smoothie while away from home, or even at home, I’m satisfied with my purchase. If you like to have shakes/smoothies I would highly recommend getting one. Again, it’s still a blender and it’s still going to make noise but the noise isn’t as deafening as normal home blenders. My cats weren’t even phased by it!

I have used this once, and the frozen strawberries kept jamming the blades. I had to keep stopping and stirring the berries. I guess this would work better with fresh fruit as opposed to frozen.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Finally able to buy this product …I wanted it so bad but had to get a color I don’t like but this is a stellar product and more than I expected. It’s quiet and quick and does the perfect texture smoothie!!
