The tv won’t turn on without any remote

Bought the tv 4 hours ago and it won’t turn on without the remote? Mind you, I bought it with a remote it clearly states.

Great value

I bought this TV as a spare TV for the bedroom and it is a great value, in that regard. I only stream on this TV, bit I can view live TV options beyond the streaming services I subscribe to, which only increases the value of this product.
I would recommend this to a friend!
