Basic hearing aides that amplify sound

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Hearing aides are expensive so I think for the person without insurance to cover the cost these hearing aides work. I wear a prescription brand so I have some experience with hearing aides. These do amplify sound. My dislike was the quality of the sound. It has a tinny quality. I got some distortion at times. These will do in a pinch if your finances are limited.

These hearing aids are great

Work very well right out of the box!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am providing my honest opinion upon acceptance of the Ceretone Nexus behind the ear hearing aid kit. I am very pleased with the hearing aids. They are of great quality and are very sturdy. I didn’t realize hearing aids could look this nice. Everything you need to immediately use them are included. Instructions were included, as well as a scan for a video, which was very helpful. I had to read the instructions several times to make sure I was putting the battery in correctly. It took me a bit to insert them in my ears correctly, but that would be normal for anyone with a new hearing aid set. Once inserted, they worked extremely well. I really liked that you could hear the beeps easily to control the volume. Once in your ear, you cannot see them. I loved that it included the batteries for immediate use. It also has various sized replacement pads and necessary tools. With more practice in inserting these, the invisible wires will be better hidden in my ear. They are showing slightly in my picture, but that is because I am still learning how to insert. I love that the hearing aids are color coded for the right and left ear. The only reason I didn’t give 5 stars was because I could barely see the red and blue color codes on the hearing aids. The colors may show up darker with more use. However, these do work very, very well

Not Good Hesring Aides

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These hearing aides are not that great. They are lightweight but over and behind the ear makes my ears sore and aggravating. They are lightweight but nagging. The size is ok. And they are not very durable at all. The clarity is good but not that great because any loud noises interfere with their use and they do have alot of whistling in them as well. They only use batteries which need changing every three days and its very hard to open the little door to put the batteries in.

Sound is improved

Getting used to these hearing aids takes some time , and I find myself adjusting the sound fairly often . They definitely help make things lighter and clearer , but there"s alsu more background noise to get used to. Overall, they work well enough.

Decent for the Price

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Ceretone Behind the Ear Nexus Hearing Aids are pretty decent. The sound is distinct and clear. Conversions were easy to hear and understand in quieter environments. They are small and lightweight making them comfortable to wear. They do not have Bluetooth connectivity so all adjustments have to be done manually. But it was very easy to change the environmental setting and volume by using buttons on the behind the ear piece. They are not rechargeable and operate on batteries. The batteries are very tiny (as you can see in the middle photo) making them a little hard to handle. Plus you need to remember to open the battery door before returning to the case. This is the only way to turn them off. Unfortunately the batteries died on the third day (they may have been sitting in a warehouse for an extended period of time) so I wasn’t able to use them as much as I would have liked but I still think they are a pretty good option. They would work well for someone with mild hearing loss making them a good value for the money.

Great OTC hearing aide
