I liked the saw at first. Now the chain won’t stay on, and no replacement chains are available. I haven’t used it much, haven’t even recharged the battery yet. Upon closer inspection, a tooth has broken off the chain, which may be the root of my problems. The reach is good but awkward when all 3 lengths are together due to the weight of the saw on such a long pole. It is powerful enough to get the job done.
Pros: Quiet, Effective, Powerful

Thank you for sharing your experience with the pole saw. We are glad to hear you found it powerful and capable of handling the job, and that the reach helped with higher branches. We also appreciate your feedback regarding the handling of the tool when all extension sections are installed. If the chain is no longer staying on, it may be helpful to inspect the chain, guide bar, and chain tension system for wear or damage. Since you noted that a chain tooth has broken, our Customer Success Team can help identify compatible replacement parts and review available options. For additional operating, maintenance, and chain adjustment tips, visit the Greenworks YouTube channel. If you need assistance, our Customer Success Team can be reached through the online chat function on the Greenworks Tools website or by calling 1-888-909-6757. Thank you for taking the time to provide your feedback.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Honestly, pretty unimpressed. Not very useful for much larger than 2-3" limbs. I have the 24V 12 inch chainsaw too, which has much more power, so I don't really understand why this is so lacking.

Hello Neb R. Thanks for sharing your experience. We are sorry to hear the 24V 8" Pole Saw did not have the power you were expecting. It is designed mainly for lighter trimming jobs usually up to about 3" limbs so we can see why it might feel limited compared to your 24V 12" chainsaw.
The higher the voltage of a product, the more power you will get and the heavier the job you can tackle. With higher voltage comes a higher price point, but depending on your workload, it may be necessary. Using the right tool not only makes the job easier but also safer. We have a variety of options for a range of household lawn care needs and hope this information is helpful. If you would like more details on which units may be best suited for your needs, please contact us through Live Chat on our site or by phone at 1-888-909-6757. We are here to help!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The pole saw really comes in handy to trim tree branches and the hedge trimmer works great. Glad I switched from the old hedge trimmer.
