[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I just bought this. I tried it and it seems to work very well. I'm looking forward to fall pruning season as this should cover everything we need.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Great tool to trim those hard to reach tree branches. Very sturdy and plenty of power to make the cuts.
I bought this about 3 years ago and have used it probably 6 times, never super heavy use as I only have 1 battery anyways. After sitting idle for around a year, when I went to use it, it just did not work. No response at all. I fiddled with it for a while and it randomly started to work. 6 days later nothing again no matter how much fiddling. It really doesn't seem like it is built to last. Seems like it should be extremely simple electronics, but something has given up. Fairly disappointing.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Hello Tyrion. We are sorry to hear that you are experiencing an issue with your tool. Often this indicates that the battery is not secure or that there may be an internal error preventing the unit from starting. When installing the battery please be sure to give it a firm push into place; a loose connection could be the culprit! If you have tried these suggestions and are still experiencing an issue, we urge you to start a Live chat on www.greenworkstools.com or call1-888-909-7657 for further assistance. We ask that you have access to your polesaw, battery, and charger at the beginning of your call and please be prepared to complete troubleshooting with our team.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] As a long term gas chain saw user, I was unsure about what to expect with this battery operated model. It had enough power to easily cut branches of 6" diameter.
I got this pole saw about a month ago to clean up some low-hanging branches on some trees in the backyard. It definitely exceeded expectations! It cut through maybe 2-3" branches like a hot knife through butter! I thought it may not last very long, but I cut down branches for probably a half hour straight or so, and the charge was still full. My only complaint is I got a little too excited because I was having fun, then I had a crap-ton of branches to clean up haha!
