LED doesn't turn off

As a mouse, it functions mostly fine. Just plug it in and it works.
The issue is that the blue lights are way too bright and there is no way to turn them off without unplugging the mouse. There are no settings or drivers to do it, and it stays lit up even when the PC is off, and even when I go into my BIOS settings and select the option that cuts power to devices when the PC is off.
It's also strangely sensitive to surface dust and hair that other mice aren't, with frequent jitters and unwanted cursor movement that I've never had with other mice on the same mousepad.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
