We firstly had a Issue with the homebase but the Support helped us very quick and solved it perfectly. Everything works fine and as expected.

I was really surprised by the clarity and with the zoom you can actually count the whiskers on a persons face, but I had the stationary one and just now got my solarcam D1 and wish I had bought one of these for mt front door camera, I feel almost like a crook trying to jot be seen by the D1

We now have 23 AOSU security cameras on our farm. Love them all. These Solar D1 classic use a Homebase to Connect to the internet, has I believe has 32 gb. of storage. They always stay 100% charged, except when having really bad weather, then they might drop down to 92% then back to 100% fully charge when weather gets better. The video quality is fantastic.

Great security camera and solar power worked out very well So no need to wire electric. I had some questions connection SD card for storage and Ivy was very orot to respond and works great for recording with no monthly fees. Camera tilts & moved to track & record movement everywhere in yard & driveway.

This is a replacement for the nearly 2 year old camera which had developed an battery fault which meant it drained rapidly.
The new camera seems slightly improved in areas but overall the camera can be made better with hopefully constructive criticism from myself.
The camera software & image quality seems to be slightly better than the last.
However some faults still make my Tapo which I have in the back garden seem better bar its inability to swivel.

The lag between connection sometimes is quite slow, the firmware is up - to - date , the wi-fi signal is showing as 96% strength most days & my honor phone has no issue with connecting to other items such as cameras etc, with the Tapo its connected in under 2 or so seconds.
The best function is the ability to save to card but this is seemingly made more difficult with modern day computers & such having a lack on card adaptors so I have to ask my son to put it on his own home built PC if I need to check anything as downloading is also very hit & miss with the software.
For the price though the image quality is very good, night shots are very clear, the light is powerful & my son has set up the old defunct one as a security light as it were now for the "blindside" of the home.
Also it beats that damn Ring camera & its monotonous tones it always does & its outlandish subscription fees - no thank you, my Aosu & Tapo will suffice.
