Life saver Crock-pot

Crockpot 4.5 Quart Manual Slow Cooker, Silver is a life saver. I can prepare soup, stew, gravy and different recipes with it. This cook a lot of delish foods. Very durable and cleaning is fast. My new appliace fave in the kitchen.

Replace temperature knob

I’ve been had my crockpot for over six years the knob that goes on where you control the temperature broke I need a replacement

Melting Handles!!

This was the 3rd or 4th use of the 4.5 qt Crock-Pot and I was cooking collard greens on high. About two hours into the cook time the handles started to melt, black substance down the sides.

Crockpot is the best. Put in your ingredients and forget it. After work dinner is pretty much ready and I don’t have to worry. Roast is the best. Tender as can be.

I used the crockpot once. Washed the lid. Set it gently into the drainer and it shattered.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

NOT 4.5 Quarts

Does NOT hold 4.5 quarts. Barely holds 4 quarts right up to the rim. Why are you claiming that it holds 4.5 quarts when it does not.

Handles literally melting off

I received this as a gift for Christmas and have tried using it 4 times. Every single time on the lowest setting it cooks entirely too fast to the point of being a safety hazard. I have to be really careful where I live (in a high fire risk area) and I wouldn't feel safe to leave this thing unattended. It cooks way too fast and hot. In fact, the handles have begun to melt! I have tried cooking a completely full pot of chili (just to reheat which was fine), a pork roast with sauerkraut (which burned after a couple hours), a rotisserie chicken (overcooked all veggies burned to bottom and blackened) and a bbq pork roast (multiple pounds and it cooked in 3 hours on LOW)! Complete craziness. Something is seriously wrong with this product.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
