This is the best blender set I've ever owned. It creates a totally smooth consistency in my soups and smoothies and is an excellent food processor for hummuses, sauces, or simple chopped vegetables. All the different container options are perfect, too, and the to-go lids for the smoothie cups make blending up a quick smoothie to go easy. Love it!

Great blender, useless "to go" smoothie cups!

The blender works great. I love being able to blend smoothies right in the cup, pop the lid on and off you go.... except for one fatal flaw. The lid does not close. It is just a big ol' gaping hole that you drink out of. No flap you can snap shut, no sliding thing to cover the hole. Nothing. It is painful. And I'll tell you why. I would like to send my kids to school with a smoothie every morning. Not in those cups! Just this morning, I was driving to work with my smoothie in my lunch kit on the passenger seat. Sure enough, I had to slam on the brakes and my lunch kit goes flying does a somersault and lands upside down on the floor. Smoothie everywhere. This is the second time. Please, for the love everything good, make a darn lid that closes for this particular model!!!!!
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Doesn't blend

This is a terrible blender. It doesn't blend anything to a smooth consistency. I've tried adding more liquids, only using soft ingredients to start with, nothing helps. Tried making mango lassi, had huge chunks of (soft!) mango even after several minutes blending. I like to make smoothies, but the result is so chunky you have to chew everything. Dont even get me started on trying to add kale or spinach to a smoothie. I've had better luck with cheap no-name blenders. Totally disappointed.

I love my blender so much, I make smoothies, frozen drinks and even make salsas!! I only had to replace the blade for the cup once because it stop working!

I have had this for about two years and have used the single serve attachment maybe 40-50 times. It will no longer lock in place to use. I am very disappointed that it did not last longer than this.

I recieved this as a wedding gift & I love it! the only con I have about it is when you blend up something like icecream, the blade will fall out when you pour from the pitcher. But otherwise it is an amazing strong tool & love the quick ability yo blend right in the single serves!

This is an amazing blender. It's our second Ninja. We wanted one with a little more oomph and the single serve cups were ideal for our family. We have two teen boys who make smoothies and milkshakes all the time. This system makes it so easy for the kids to make their own individual drinks without making a mess and without having to making a huge batch. I can crush ice, make snow cones and so much more. And clean up is a breeze. It really washes up nicely. And Ninja has a great warranty.
