[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve been using the Galaxy Tab A9 mainly for streaming, reading, and light work, and it’s been surprisingly solid. It’s compact, easy to hold, and the metal finish gives it a nice feel for a budget tablet. The 8.7-inch screen isn’t the sharpest, but it’s good enough for watching shows and browsing without any complaints.
Performance has been smooth for basic tasks. Apps open quickly, and switching between things like YouTube, Chrome, and Kindle is no problem. It’s not built for heavy multitasking or gaming, but for everyday stuff, it gets the job done without feeling sluggish.
Battery life is one of its strengths. I’ve been getting close to a full day on a single charge with mixed use. It does take a while to charge, and you’ll need your own charger, but once it’s topped up, it lasts. For something affordable and reliable, the Tab A9 is a great pick for casual use.

When I get home my family uses it to stream music, movies, and the kids play all their games without any issues. I love it and probably the best device I've ever had. Plus the Samsung AI is amazing and is very useful for me and my entire family.
