This is not for people who are looking to do a 4K video editing, but this is for your regular office work, browsing, small file editing. Performance is really good, battery is not as good as as MacBook Air 2017, but still pretty good. Fingerprint scanner is a new thing for me, its nice as you don’t have to type password again and again. But if you are using apple watch, then you do not need this.

A pleasant experience

Definitely Apple is still the best at engineering the best looking and feeling machine's, the craftsmanship is very nice. The keyboard is pleasant to type on and the high res display makes viewing documents very enjoyable. My main use is web development in VS code. Additional tasks include word processing, viewing pdf documentations and creating spreadsheets. The Air handles these tasks without issue.
Is it worth the premium price tag? That depends. If you're going to be doing a lot of work on a computer, then probably. If you'll only use it for an hour a day or less, then probably not. You can get a more powerful Windows machine at half the price. Pick the right tool for the job.

Un achat durable et fiable. J'ai utilisé mon premier MacBook Air pendant 9 ans et à date, avec cette nouvelle version, tout fonctionne à merveille. J'aime l'ajout du Touch ID qui permet d'ouvrir rapidement l'ordinateur lorsqu'il est en veille. Les hauts-parleurs donnent un vraiment meilleur son que le MacBook Air 2011 (évidemment! haha!). Il surchauffe encore un peu quand je joue aux Sims dessus, mais je sais très bien que ce n'est pas un ordi fait pour ça. De façon générale, je suis entièrement satisfaite.

Great Computer for students! Great for doing online classes, or just doing some internet exploring. Overall great, and Touch ID makes unlocking a breeze!
