When my secondhand Vitamix finally went dead after 5 years, I made an impulse buy and splurged on a Blendtec, which I'd always really wanted. I'm happy that I did. I love the pre-programmed cycles, the sleek, compact design, not to mention the fact that's it's self-cleaning. One of the best decisions I've made to date!

I bought this blender two months ago. We have been use it almost every day. It surly increases our daily fruit and vegetables consumes. The only problem I have is that the noise is too loud, but I understand that it requires a big motor to blend everything finely

After trying the NINJA three different time, I decided to go Blendtec... thus far, I am very pleased with its performance and how it makes smoothies as well as other food products. I even belnded almonds... it worked. You will be very pleased with it and the best part for me, if it lasts it's warranty , it is all worth it, if it does not, I just get a new one at no cost.
