I purchased this blender a few months ago. This is the second Blendtec we have owned. The quality of this appliance is exceptional and the warranty is the best. The soups we make and the protein drinks are healthy and refreshing. We love this blender and after talking to places like jamba juice and other retail businesses that use blenders, Blendtec is the blender of choice.

I am so glad I bought my Blendtec so far. I use it pretty much every day. It's pretty pricey, but if it lasts for 8 or more years, it will be worth it. I don't think it's as loud as other reviews have said -- definitely not as loud as my old Ninja. Way easier to clean than the Ninja too. Blends really well -- no chunks of ice or anything. I only use the mixed drink setting to make smoothies because we like a little courseness in our smoothies -- the smoothie setting makes it REALLY smooth. I have made hot soup in it too, and it works great! I like that it's shorter than the Vitamix too -- I actually bought the Vitamix first because it was on sale, but it was too tall to fit under my cupboards.

Blender was ‘new’ but had minor cosmetic damage (scratch on base) out of the box but kept it anyway. So-so blending of frozen fruits. When it blends works great but I have to get in there and move frozen items around with a spoon once in awhile. Loud. I would maybe buy it again.

After spending a considerable amount of time trying to choose between a vitamix and a blend tech I chose the blendtec and I am very very happy with it! It does an excellent job blending everything up so smooth...carrots, kale, ect. I’m definitely eating more healthy using my new Blendtec!

I use this machine almost every night to blend smoothies. It does a great job with ice and fresh or frozen fruits/veggies. It is loud, but it's not the machine, just the process (crushing ice and frozen fruit can be loud). Great machine!

My wife and I inherited her parents older Blendtec when we got married. It was purchased when her parents were married. It had lasted them 20 years. Granted they had to replace the rubber bushing and spinner a few times but it still pulverized just like new. After two years of use for my wife and I the rubber bushing started to shred. It was the perfect excuse to convince my wife we needed a new one!! Guess what Blendtec is still producing the BEST blender on the market. Period!
