"A swing and a miss"

I was so excited to be among the first to upgrade my trusty old JBL Charge 2 with what was the latest Olin portable sound from Sonos. It arrived and the first thing I was taken aback by was the heft ("isn't this thing called the 'move'?"... I guess it was inspired by the experience of moving...out of a house and carrying heavy things. While the sound is pretty nice, it was far from very impressive (let alone mind-blowing). The connectivity via wireless then blue tooth is unintuitive and unreliable. My simple JBL Charge 2 just plane worked! ...finally, the battery; unlike the JBL Charge 2 (which you could use as a battery back-up for your cell phone and still seemed to have a genie inside allowing for all day big music in a single charge, the Sonos move takes a full charge and within about four hours or so goes dead (party over).
Pros: Superior Sound
Cons: Difficult Setup, Difficult to Use, Heavy (for a portable), Limited battery charge life, Unreliable
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Great sound

We are loving the Move addition to our Sonos collection. Set up in less than 5 min and listening on the deck. Recommend.

Great sound...but

I bought a refurbished unit (direct from Sonos). Unfortunately, the USB C connection did not work. I was forced to send it back. The sound was amazing. Setup was easy. I can't comment on battery life since I didn't have the unit long enough to test it out. If everything was working correctly, I'm guessing I would give 4-5 stars.

Sound quality amazing

The ability to move the speaker around without plugging it into an outlet. Huge bonus!! Speaker adjusted automatically to its surroundings. Great for use outside
